Climate Change Action Centre begins information sessions

The public is invited to attend a presentation this Wednesday of the N.B. Climate Change Action Plan- Engagement Strategy.

This will be given by Collette Lemieux from the provincial Department of Environment at the Bathurst Sustainable Development Climate Change Action Centre.

The Action Center, which openedlast week, with the assistance of the N.B. Environmental Trust Fund, is located at 237 Main St., Suite 1. The presentation and discussion will be done in French from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again in English from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Upcoming events include a visit by the Climate Change Messenger on Sept. 17 and a presentation on Banning the Plastic Bag on Sept. 24. Check the upcoming events board at the centre for more details.
