Ron Drysdale (shown above) of Rainbow Dry Cleaners has brought back a program at his business to help less fortunate children. Called Coats For Kids, the program involves inviting local residents with children's winter coats they no longer need to bring them into Rainbow Dry Cleaners, located at 600 St. Anne St., Unit 110. Mrs. Drysdale and his statt will clean, repair (if necessary), press and package these at no charge, and then deliver them to the Bathurst Volunteer Centre for distribution to those children in need of winter coats. Mr. Drysdale said he is restarting the Coats For Kids program, which Rainbow used to do years ago, as a way of helping out the community in these times of economic challenges.
