Bathurst High School graduate Jean Guy Guindon is the 2008 recipient of the Chaleur Region Multicultural Association's $350 scholarship. Jean Guy, also the recipient of the Birks Medal for outstanding contributions to the community and school life, is entering chemical engineering at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.
