Ode to the sun
After this long harsh winter and equally difficult spring, we can finally be happy; summer is on its way. The beautiful sunshine, trips to beach and exquisite BBQ cuisine. Summer isn’t my personal favorite season, but I can’t help but like it no matter how hot it gets outside.
Yes it has its downsides: my hair will be frizzy beyond belief, there will be many sleepless nights because it is just too hot outside, and my personal favorite, the comeback with a vengeance of the muffin top. (I actually prefer to call it the baker’s dozen in some circumstances; it just seems to better explain the visual.)
I look forward to sitting on a beach with my frizzy hair, caked with SPF 45, with an inexplicable craving for muffins….
