Volunteers needed for Junior Achievement
Published Tuesday September 30th, 2008

The local Junior Achievement program is in need of volunteers for the 2008-09 year.
Junior Achievement (JA) is a non-profit organization that is owned and operated by the business community. JA's mission is to inspire and educate young Canadians to value free enterprise, understand business and economics and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
Each program requires volunteers who assist the program delivery. To become involved with Junior Achievement, all you need is a basic knowledge of business and a desire to work with kids. JA's program delivery starts in October.
As for the benefits of volunteering with JA, volunteers gain the personal satisfaction of helping young people clarify their personal goals and reach their potentials. Just as the students have fun, so do the volunteers.
For more information about JA, contact Sharon D. Jagoe at jaje@nb.aibn.com or call her at 548-3700.
