A road block for a cause

Members of the Teens Against Drunk Driving committee from Bathurst High School held a road block in front of the high school on King Avenue last Wednesday. The purpose was to raise money for their trip to the organization's national conference this week at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Shown from left receiving a donation from a passing motorist are Katie Gormley, Clint Coombs and Louise-Marie Roux. A total of 20 students from BHS will be attending the conference that gets under way on Thursday.
