I moved out of Bathurst about 5 years ago to find work and return to visit family a few times a year only to see Bathurst City workers driving new trucks every time I visit. I was reading in the paper and seeing once again that the city of Bathurst is spending the citizens tax money (which goes up every year) on a new truck instead of putting it into areas that need repairs...Like the roads for instance. When will the city stop spending hundreds of thousands of our tax dollars on new vehicles and spend a bit of money at a repair shop like the rest of us?
