For the first time in weeks, the price of gasoline actually dropped last Thursday, from 126.1 cents for a litre of regular unleaded to 124.4. In January 2007, the price was 88.6 but it started to climb shortly thereafter due to various factors, such as the high price of crude oil and lack of refining capacity. Shown fueling up at a local gas outlet earlier this month is Lesley Boucher of Bathurst.
