The annual event will be held Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Delta Beausejour, 750 Main Street, Moncton. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton and hosted by CEO John Wishart.

The chamber says it will be a “fireside chat” format where Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold, Dieppe Mayor Yvon Lapierre and Riverview Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc will speak about their communities and take questions from the audience.

The main topic of discussion is expected to be population growth and the challenges that come with it. The Greater Moncton Census Metropolitan Area was recognized as the fastest-growing in Canada. The population growth has resulted in a building boom to create more homes and apartments, along with the expansion of roads and other infrastructure.
