Helping students prepare for school The fourth annual Backpacks for Kids program kicked off last week with Aliant Pioneer volunteers preparing backpacks full of school supplies. The backpacks are for students in need from School Districts 5 and 15. Seventy-five backpacks were provided by Aliant and the supplies came from Aliant employees and Aliant Pioneer volunteers.
