Q: Country or rock and roll?

I'd say rock and roll. I really like music from the 1970s like Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin but I also like newer artists like Lenny Kravitz and Beck. Those would be my picks for rock and roll.

Q: Favourite food?

It would be baked salmon with baked potato and asparagus. I got that recipe off the Internet and thought I'd try to impress my girlfriend and do something special. Now it's become a weekly favourite and we really enjoy it. You bake it for 25 to 30 minutes with a bit of lemon and water. It's really easy and really good.

Q: What is your pet peeve?

I guess every time I try to replace my ink in my ink cartridges in my printer, no matter how hard I try, I always seem to make a mess on me or the area I'm in. I guess we all know how hard ink is to clean so that's my biggest pet peeve, because I can never seem to make a clean ink refill in my printer.

Q: Favourite hobbies?

Hobby would be playing and recording music. I really enjoy playing with different musicians and creating original music. I currently play with different people right now and I don't have an official band running right now. We're working on another group right now but it's still in the works. Something else I like to do is taking long walks in the woods, especially around Daley Point.

Q: Favourite movie?

I don't really have a favourite movie but I really love comedies and anything by Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler – anybody from the Saturday Night Live cast, I really enjoy. The latest movie I've seen from Mike Myers was The Love Guru and that was pretty funny.

Q: Favourite holiday?

I guess I would have to say Christmas. It's a really great time to see my family. I have two sisters, one lives in Fredericton and one lives in Montreal. Also, friends – it's great to see them come back. Some of my friends live out of town so they always come back and it's almost guaranteed that I'll see somebody that I haven't seen for the last five years. It's a really good time to catch up with old friends.

Q: Favourite way to spend vacation?

I guess it would be to travel to Montreal and Halifax. I love to travel to those areas. It's just visiting new places, having new experiences in new places and I also really like kicking back in my back yard on the hammock and just relaxing and enjoying nice weather.

Q: Who do you admire?

I really admire everyone who is working hard for a good cause. I really admire volunteers who help out on a day-to-day basis and people that pursue their goals and have strong ambitions in life.

Q: Best advice you've ever received?

The best advice would be to live in the present moment, don't let life pass you by. Don't be afraid to make mistakes because you only learn from them and become a better and stronger person.

Q: Best thing about living in the Chaleur region?

The best thing for me would be we're surrounded by nature here. There's new and exciting developments that are happening in the city and in the Chaleur region. It's a very attractive place to live and very relaxing. You can always find activities to do all year round.
