Cory Godin of Beresford was gathering up some seaweed during a clean-up on July 8 at Youghall Beach. He was working alongside 15 students and eight adult leaders from Kennebacasis Baptist Church in Quispamsis, who were in Bathurst the week of July 7 to 13. They spent mornings serving at a vacation bible school at Bayview Baptist and afternoons were spent cleaning the beach at Youghall. The trip, which cost each student $150, was the vision of Pastor John Dunnett who grew up in Bathurst. Cory, 15, is the son of Etienne and Joanne Godin of Beresford.
