Local moto cross racer Jeremie Boudreau of Nigadoo finished second in the 65cc class at Arena Cross in Sackville on April 19. The 11-year-old son of Marc and Tammy Boudreau, shown in photo at right receiving his trophy, also grabbed a fourth place finish 24-hours later during the two-day event.

Beresford boxer wins weekend bout in Campbellton
A Beresford boxer was victorious at a fight card in Campbellton last weekend. Jessy Manuel won his bout by decision over Jonathan David of Chandler, Que. in the 152 pound weight class.

Local skaters medal at provincial competition
Skaters from Skate/Patinage Bathurst came back home with five medals, including four gold, from the New Brunswick SpringSkate competition in Moncton on April 12 and 13.
