Ringette Association wraps up season

The Chaleur Tweens, who were ranked second of 12 teams heading into the event after finishing the regular season with an 8-3 record, finished the round-robin portion of the event with one tie and two losses. That was thanks to a 3-3 draw with Miramichi, a 3-1 loss to Dieppe and a 4-2 setback to Memramcook.
The Novice girls were ranked third, out of 12 teams in their age group, heading into the provincials with an 8-2-1 record and having picked gold and silver medals at tournaments earlier this year. Despite that, they wound up 0-3 at the provincials with losses at the hands of Miramichi, 4-3; Dieppe, 3-1; and Kent South, 4-3.
The Chaleur Petites, who were ranked seventh out of 14 teams with a 6-5 regular season record, also went 0-3 at the provincials.
The Chaleur Bunnies also took part in the provincial event, however the five to seven-year-old age group doesn't count goals or record wins and losses.
