Todd Eckstein and Annie Haché were the overall winners at the Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club's junior club championships on Aug. 19. Eckstein, the son of Sue and Tim Eckstein, shot a 74 to win both the midget boys championship and the overall boys title. Haché, daughter of Bernie and Janice Haché, carded an 84 to claim both the juvenile girls championship and the overall girls title. Shown from left are Zack Boyd, who shot an 84 to win the boys bantam title; Emery LeBlanc, representing the United Commercial Travelers, Bathurst Council 827, who sponsored the event; junior coordinator Bradley Chamberlain; Haché; junior coordinator Sally Chamberlain; and Eckstein.
