Apple Squares

2 cups flour

1 cup oatmeal

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup margarine

2 cups apples

Cinnamon

Sauce:

1 cup white sugar

3/4 cup margarine

2 Tbsp. cornstarch

1 cup boiling water

Mix together until crumbly, flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and margarine. Line 10x7 inch pan with 1/2 crumble mixture. Slice apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Sauce: Heat white sugar, margarine and cornstarch in saucepan until melted. Add boiling water. Cook until thickened. Pour over apples. Top with other 1/2 crumble mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm.
