Classical guitarist performs Sunday

Classical guitarist Daniel Bolshoy will perform this Sunday at Ecole Secondaire Nepisiguit.

The concert is at 3 p.m. and is a presentation of Jeunesses Musicales du Canada. Tickets are $20 at the door.

Bolshoy, who teached guitar at Concordia University in Montreal, has performed at various festivals, including the Ottawa and the Vancouver International Chamber Music Festivals, the Halifax Guitar Festival and the International Music Festival in Macao.

His recitals are frequently broadcast on CBC Radio and he has appeared in two documentary films for Bravo television.
