Five local churches have joined forces one again this year for a bilingual music concert to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Campaign. The second annual concert will take place May 24 at 7 p.m. at Ecole Secondaire Nepisiguit and will include a performance by Higher Ground, a rhythm and blues band from Moncton, along with musical numbers from the churches involved, door prizes and refreshments. Tickets are available at Music City at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, with proceeds being used to help purchase a new digital mammography machine for the Chaleur Regional Hospital. Last year's event raised $5,670. Shown front from left are Ron Mazerolle, Susan Blackmore and Etienne Godin. Second row: Luc Poirier, Kim Landry, Hertel Landry, Fernand Doiron and Ghislain Hache. Back: Allison Fontaine, holding nine and a half month old Zachary Fontaine, David Fontaine, Paul Lanteigne and Jean Mehu.
