Trophies were were presented to the piano students of Bathurst music teacher Helen Hachey following exams in May through the Prepatory School of Music of the University of Moncton. Shown from front left are: Julia Kyle and Larrisa Godin. Back: Helen Hachey, Heidi Scott, Courtenay Vickers, Maude Boucher and Kathleen Tozer. Aisha Chettier, Caroline Willett, Sophie Arseneault, Morgan Luce and Laurence Boucher also received certificates. The trophy winners each received a $200 bursary. Julia received a medal for excellence in sight reading, Kathleen received the Bathurst Music Festival trophy for the 12 years and over, while Sophie shared the 12 years and under trophie with Amelie Doucet.
