Buster looking for a fun new owner
Published Friday July 18th, 2008

Hi! My name is Buster! I am somewhere between 1-2 years old, which is still fairly young. I am a male golden lab-collie mix. I was brought to the shelter within the past couple weeks as a stray someone found.
All I have to say is that for a stray I am a pretty friendly dog. Most strays at one time had to have belonged to someone, I know I once did and I ended up here at the shelter.
What I would like to know is what happened to my person, where are they? I suppose most of us strays wonder this and how our people live without us in their life now. I would have been your best friend til the end if you would have kept me, just to let you know.
On another note, I will let you know what I am looking for in my next owner.
I am a high energy dog who would love to go to an active family that will take me on many walks for the rest of my doggy life.
I am also looking for someone who wants to have fun in life and who will join me at playtime. I tend to get excited when first meeting people and be a little hyper but then again what dog isn’t? All in all I am rather well behaved and at times I will roll around and give my paw to act cute and be silly. I just love people and want to make them happy.
I never want to have to worry about ending up in a shelter again. So, if you adopt me are you able to make me that promise? For more information about adopting, please call the SPCA at 622-0645 or come visit the shelter, located in the Chatham Industrial Park on 128 Dan Cripps St.
The shelter is open from 10a.m.- 4p.m. Tuesday to Sundays. The shelter is closed on Mondays.
Don’t forget to check out the pictures on our Facebook site under the Save the Miramichi SPCA group to see the many other cats, kittens and dogs here at the shelter.
