The hard-rocking Trews come to New Brunswick for two shows next month in the southern part of the province.

The band, originally from Nova Scotia but now relocated to Toronto, perform Sept. 8 at Club Monte Carlo in Saint John and Sept. 9 at Oxygen Nightclub in Moncton

Back with their latest release, No Time For Later (2008), The Trews turned to Gus Van Go and Werner F (Priestess/The Stills) for production duties. The first single "Hold Me In Your Arms" hit number one on the MuchMusic Countdown and the video was nominated for the MuchLoud Best Rock Video at the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards in June.

Their latest single "Paranoid Freak" is currently charting on rock radio and is featured on the MuchMusic Countdown.

Consisting of singer Colin MacDonald, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Syperek and drummer Sean Dalton, The Trews received JUNO Award nominations for Single of the Year in 2005 and New Group of the Year in 2004. They also took home the 2005 ECMA for Group of the Year.

Tickets for both shows are now on sale.
