Lenny still waiting for right person
Published Monday October 13th, 2008

Hi! My name is Lenny! I am a white male with tabby spots who is one year old. I have been at the shelter for quite a few months, and this is not my first time appearing in the paper. Lately, it seems that the adult cats are having great success with finding homes. So, I wanted another chance to see if someone now has a home for me.
I was on the shy side when I first came here, but I have since made lots of progress. I no longer run and hide when people come to visit and I have made friends with the other cats. I like when people give me attention now and some even call me a sweetheart. This summer someone donated money to have me neutered. In fact, most of the male cats have been lucky enough to have sponsors, which means one less thing to be done if you take one of us. Would you please come and tell me that I am next in line and that you are adopting me? I am ready to love you and be the best cat you have ever had! Remember, seniors receive a discount, which is a $30 adoption fee on cats, even on those who are already spayed or neutered!
For more information about adopting, please call the SPCA at 622-0645 or come visit the shelter, located in the Chatham Industrial Park on 128 Dan Cripps St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday. The shelter is closed on Mondays.
